This is the place...

So as most of you know, we have moved back to Utah from Arizona. We are so blessed to have been able to receive a job in Utah after 10 short months of unemployment. I guess after a while you have to go where the money is. It was heartbreaking to leave our life, family and friends in Arizona. It was the hardest move yet in every aspect. We came to Utah in August to meet with Doug's boss to find out if this was really the right thing and it was. We found a great home that fits our needs well so quickly. It all just worked. Then we had a month of good-bye's and spending a lot of time with those we love. We had such an amazing experience in our almost 5 years there. So many lessons learned and most of all the relationships that were made with others that will forever have affected our lives. I was the Laurel advisor in Gilbert and loved those girls with everything in me. They changed me and uplifted me. I will never forget them and their example. So we moved to Utah on September 25th. WRONG TIME OF YEAR to be moving back to this place. We left Arizona with temps at still over 100 and moved to Utah and turned on the heater. A little shocker. We are all adjusting still, but we are so very grateful for the many blessings we have been provided with. Thank you so much to all who helped us move and for those who have done many other things to help us out in time of need. Miracles are worked through others.

This was our Pioneer celebration that we had on July 25, 2009. It was very fun for the kids. Extremely humid, but so fun to celebrate. Everyone had a great time!

Not much happening here. School starts next Monday, and Chaden and Kabrynna are thrilled. I thought I would be, but I am a little torn. Doug has been working out of town for the last 3 weeks. He leaves on Sunday and comes home Thursday nights. It is just temporary work, but we are so grateful to have something. The kids sure miss him. I didn't really think that it would be that big of deal to them, but it has really affected the younger two. I have to be a lot more sensitive to them, which sometimes I am not so careful. Other than that, things are great!
