Dallin's Birthday!

My baby turned 4 on January 5th! I can't believe he is 4. Although he thinks he is 4 going on 10. He is a handful! BUT I am so grateful to have him in my life. We love him so much. He is a funny, mischievous, helpful, intelligent, long-eye lashed, loud, motor loving, tire loving, sassy, daddy loving, big for his age, stubborn little 4 year old. I should have known when he was born 4 years ago that he would be all those things. He tried to trick me into thinking he was coming a little too early. Once I could go off the meds for the labor, he decided he didn't want to come out. But I wanted him OUT! So I was induced on the 5th of January 2006. He was born at the Banner Mesa hospital in Arizona at 1:45 P.M. He weighed 7 lbs. 1 oz. He had the HUGEST feet. The nurse even joked and said she didn't think she could fit his footprint on the paper. He is the 4th love of my life! He is all about the presents now. After his birthday we were having family prayer and it was his turn, so he says, "Please bless us that the Rodabough's will give us lots more presents, and please bless us that Christmas will come again and we can put up the Christmas tree." We had a good laugh about it. I love the innocence of little children. He was so excited to be a Sunbeam this year because he says, "I am so big now." Thanks for keeping our life so full! We love you Dallin!

We had a wonderful Christmas season! As we hope you each did. We were so blessed and many touched our lives! It was great season. January has started off as busy as December, but I think it might just slow down soon. I had my family from Arizona come and visit all of us over New Years. We played games, saw the lights at Temple Square, went sledding, drank hot chocolate and ate way too much food. I had not been sledding in years. It was a riot! Although it does make a little difference now after having children when you hit the bumps on the way down. It was a good time! My good friend Heidi from Arizona was in Utah also. It was so great to be with her. I was so glad to see her for the holidays!
